Australian Pregnancy Register is seeking women with epilepsy, or other women taking anti-epileptic medications, who are pregnant or have recently given birth (infants up to 12 months of age), to help us understand the effects of these medications on the mother and developing baby during pregnancy.
Please enquire if you:
- Took an anti-epileptic medication during pregnancy for any reason, or;
- Have epilepsy and did not take medications during pregnancy, or;
- Took an anti-epileptic medication during pregnancy and experienced an alternative pregnancy outcome, or;
- Have epilepsy and did not take medications during pregnancy and experienced an alternative pregnancy outcome.
Please fill in your details below and a research nurse from the APR will contact you within one week.
Following written consent, there will be up to six phone interviews, during which questions will be asked regarding epilepsy, medication, pregnancy, baby and the development of the growing child.
1. Enrolment (10-15 mins)
2. Seven months gestation (5 mins)
3. One month post delivery (5-10 mins)
4. One year following delivery (5 mins)
5. Five years old (5 mins)
6. Twelve years old (5 mins)
